I’ve always wondered what someone form the 60’s and 70's would think the insane performance of modern muscle cars.

But will it rally?

Is it too early to start thinking about nitrous?
![]() 04/11/2017 at 21:53 |

They won’t, but I guess it could?

Uhhhh, YouTube?

Nitrous would grenade this so fast.

It depends on what you mean by “rally”, because I’m almost certain it’ll Gumball rally.

Ugh. You’ve just ruined it

Shut up, you know you’d like to see it with a special vinyl wrap with d0uchey advertisements for Monster drink, some random vodka brand, and Scott Disick’s new car dealership.

I’d rather get dysentery again

You on your way to Oregon in a covered wagon or something?
![]() 04/11/2017 at 22:38 |

No, but that also sounds better than Gumball
![]() 04/11/2017 at 22:52 |

I wouldn’t do the Gumball.
I’d do the Bullrun, though.

“Fastest car ever”
If there ever was an automakers dream it was to be able to use that tag line. Again. And again.

By what metric? 1/4 mile time for a production vehicle, I assume?
If so, should be “quickest”. Fastest would refer to top speed.

Seriously, I don’t know. I just saw the ad, but my guess is indeed quarter mile time.

Looks like it’s 0-60, but...

I guess they’re confident it will prove faster once the magazines get ahold of it. Looking forward to seeing them run against each other in the real world.
Here are the 1/4 mile kings:

Jesus. Dodge did build this up to the hype IMO.

I see Elon and Dodge one-upping each other with software updates several times over the next year until they’re basically grenading their buyers’ cars in a quest for glory.
